It's important to gather as much information as I can about your idea for your new garden based on our initial talk and maybe some pictures of your existing garden. I'll question you about your needs for the design, how you utilise your garden, your preferred style, and the practical guidelines like the timetable and basic budget.

Step 2

Consultation

A site survey is so important in order to fully utilise your plot, we assess the ground levels, vantage points, areas that need privacy measures, drainage etc. to create the best design that meets your needs. We go over your landscaping project in great detail, looking at ideas and looking over inspirational pictures to help you to define your garden dreams.

Step 3

Concept design

Starting with an annotated sketch plan and a mood-board, we provide a summary of your developing design layout including your wish list and design brief. This draft is a work-in-progress tool that encourages conversation for your review.

To get your comments and make sure the design fits your vision, we have a thorough conversation in person or phone/WhatsApp.

We can go through a careful round of changes, modifying the design depending on your comments and ideas.

Step 4

Developed Design

The next step is to meticulously create a completely annotated, to-scale 2D concept layout that shows every feature in your new design in great clarity. Mood boards provide a clear view of your intended environment and help you to better link images to your concept design. To offer a virtual reality vision, photo-realistic 3D visuals – also known as 3D renders – reveal every viewpoint, important views, and minute details.

Step 5

Design detail

We then work to create a thorough collection of exact plans, construction details, showing the processes for each component of the garden, sketches, and elevations. These records include all aspect of building, including lighting design and landscaping schemes. If necessary, the master plan – a completed annotated 2D picture of the whole site – allows phasing of the project. A materials table links all material quantities to the plan, a laying out plan guarantees exact construction alignment.

Together with a schedule for ordering, detailed planting designs offer a clear vision and layout including plant size, spacing, and position.
