Garden designers generally design a garden and then landscape them. But not only that they will offer services like planting schemes and garden consultancy for future changes to a garden.
As well as working on domestic gardens garden designers will also work on commercial projects. Garden design for restaurants, business developers and schools can be very exciting with larger budgets and often larger areas to work with.
Each garden design that we provide at Gardens of Distinction will be tailored to your specific needs.
Our garden designers solihull design for any size and style, whether it’s a suburban garden, family garden, or vast rural estate garden, to help you make the most of your outside space.

The Garden design process
Each Garden designer have their own way to work but in general they will follow similar steps to these :
Stage 1 – Initial Consultation
Talk about all of your ambitions and dreams for the perfect garden here.
Stage 2 – Design Site Survey
This depends on the extent and complexity of the changes.
Outline Design in Depth
A completely labelled detailed outline design outlining exactly how your garden will look will be delivered.
Construction Plans
The designs created here will be used by the landscaper to build design elements such as pergolas, retaining walls, and water features.
Stage 3 – Planting layout
Every plan will centre on creating stunning planting combinations that take into account the forms, colours, and textures that they will produce. I will then create a plan detailing the plant layout as well as a nursery schedule.
Stage 4 – Garden Construction
Work scope and specifications
This set of instructions will aid landscapers in the construction of your garden and will allow the customer to understand the schedule. All of the materials and procedures for building your garden will be detailed.
