This bespoke garden transformation in Kenilworth transformed a challenging, sloping landscape into a beautiful outdoor space with multiple areas for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying the garden throughout the year.

Project Overview
When we first visited the property, the garden’s uneven levels presented one of the biggest challenges for our garden design. The existing landscape sloped in several directions, making the space difficult to use and limiting its potential.
Our first priority within the garden transformation was to carefully regrade and re-level the garden, creating a series of practical patios and terraces that formed the foundation for the new design.
The completed garden now features a dedicated dining area, a peaceful seating space overlooking the garden and a secluded whirlpool spa, accessed via an elegant stepping stone pathway. Each area has been carefully positioned to create its own character while maintaining a strong connection with the overall landscape.
Creating Structure & Privacy
Another challenge of this garden transformation was the large garage wall, which dominated one side of the garden. We introduced bespoke Corten steel planters to soften the space and create visual interest.
As these planters are self-contained, they also prevent moisture from affecting the garage wall. Matching Corten steel edging was used to frame the circular lawn, providing clean lines and helping to maintain its striking shape throughout the seasons.
To increase privacy without compromising the overall design, three carefully selected topiary trees were positioned to help screen overlooking neighbouring windows. These structural planting elements complement the contemporary style of this garden transformation while creating a greater sense of enclosure and tranquillity.
Planting & Finishing Touches
The planting scheme within this garden transformation combines a variety of herbaceous perennials chosen to provide colour, texture and seasonal interest for much of the year.
To ensure the garden performs just as well as it looks, we also installed a discreet drainage system beneath the landscape, allowing rainwater to drain away efficiently and helping to protect the garden for years to come.
